Metro Pacific Iloilo Water (MPIW) is a water distribution utility which aims to uplift the lives of every Ilonggo community through safe and reliable water.

It is a joint-venture company borne out of Metro Pacific Water and Metro Iloilo Water District. Metro Pacific Iloilo Water (MPIW) is the joint venture company of MIWD and Metro Pacific Water (MPW) that aims to improve water and sanitation services for the Ilonggo community. Metro Pacific Iloilo Water began operations in July 1, 2019.

The management team of Metro Pacific Iloilo Water (MPIW), led by Chief Operating Officer Angelo David Berba, personally walked the waterlines of Barangay Hibao-an Sur and North and Barangay Guzman-Jesena in Mandurriao district on April 28, 2026 — validating water meters, spotting leaks, and listening to customer concerns face-to-face as part of the company’s Bantay Linya Program.

More than a field visit, the activity signaled a strong shift toward management team immersion, where decision-makers of MPIW step beyond boardrooms and directly into the communities they serve.

The Bantay Linya Program is a recurring bi-monthly initiative that will expand to 72 barangays across service areas. To further accelerate these efforts, MPIW allocated a PHP 8 billion investment for the next three years dedicated to improving water supply reliability and significantly reducing non-revenue water (NRW).

“Bantay Linya enables our management team to verify actual field data, align operational responses, and ensure that our network performance reflects the service standards we commit to our customers,” Berba said.

Demonstrating a strong commitment to community engagement, the management team of Metro Pacific Iloilo Water personally immersed themselves in the community through the “Bantay Linya” initiative held in Brgy. Hibao-an Norte and Sur, and Brgy. Guzman-Jesena, Mandurriao District. This is a year-round initiative that continues throughout the year to help ensure reliable water service.

The team, led by Chief Operating Officer Angelo David Berba, conducted on-site validation of meter conditions, directly engaged with customers, reviewed ongoing projects and leak repair activities, and identified opportunities to further improve day-to-day operations. The initiative reflects the company’s core that meaningful service begins with firsthand experience and genuine connection with the communities it serves.

Bringing together key officers from diverse professional backgrounds, it allowed the management team to communicate company programs directly to customers and listen closely to feedback on the ground.

𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗙 𝗜𝗡 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗣💧

Metro Pacific Iloilo Water extended assistance to families affected by the residential fire in Brgy. Kasing-kasing, Molo by delivering 300 gallons of drinking water to 105 individuals temporarily sheltered at Baluarte Elementary School.

This effort is part of MPIW’s Help to Others (H2O) Program under the flagship Tatap Ilonggo CSR Program, reinforcing our commitment to stand with communities when they need it most.

Together, we continue to bring care, compassion, and safe water to Ilonggos.

𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬’𝗦 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 I Heroes’ Reroute: MPIW Water Tanker Personnel Drop Everything to Fight Jaro Grassfire

What began as a routine water delivery quickly turned into an act of courage when a grassfire broke out in Brgy. Buhang, Jaro at around 2:30 PM today.

Mr. Rogen and Mr. Niel, personnel of Metro Pacific Iloilo Water, were en route to Barangay Sinikway when they encountered a grassfire. Without hesitation, they stopped and used the water tanker to help suppress the flames—preventing what could have escalated into a larger incident.

In a moment that called for urgency, two ordinary workers chose to step up—quietly embodying what it means to serve beyond duty.
