Happy 18th Anniversary, CAAP! ❤️✈️

In celebration of the 18th Anniversary of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, CAAP–Cotabato Airport successfully conducted a Blood Letting Program as part of its commitment to community service and saving lives.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the invaluable support and partnership of Cotabato Regional and Medical Center and Cotabato Sanitarium and General Hospital, whose dedication and assistance helped ensure the success of this life-saving initiative.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our medical partners, volunteers, and all generous blood donors who took part in this noble cause. Your willingness to give a part of yourselves reflects the true spirit of compassion and public service.

As CAAP marks another year of service to the aviation industry and the Filipino people, we remain committed not only to safe skies but also to meaningful community engagement.

Together, we continue to make a difference, one drop at a time. 🩸

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) will reduce the aeronautical fees effective April 1, 2026, as part of efforts to mitigate the impact of rising global fuel prices.

This action follows the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez to implement measures that will help ease the burden on both passengers and the aviation industry amid escalating oil costs.

"Sisiguraduhin po namin na ang lahat ng transport group, kasama na rin ang mga operator, tsuper, commuters, ay makakaasa sila na tutulong po ang gobyerno, makakaasa po na gagawa pa kami ng mga iba't ibang inisyatibo upang sa ganon maibsan natin yung epekto ng kaguluhan sa Gitnang Silangan." said Secretary Lopez in a press conference.

Under the modified rates, the aeronautical fees, including the landing and takeoff, will be decreased to nearly 50% overall, or as high as approximately P5,000 per landing.

Meanwhile, the Passenger Service Charge (PSC) for international travel at international airports will be reduced from ₱900 to ₱700. For domestic travel at international airports, PSC will be lowered from ₱350 to a range of ₱150 to ₱200.

For Principal Class 1 airports, fees will be reduced from ₱300 to ₱150–₱200, while Principal Class 2 airports will see a decrease from ₱200 to ₱100. Community airport charges will likewise be lowered from ₱100 to ₱50.

Passenger Service Charges are paid by travelers, while aeronautical fees are shouldered by airlines.

“We recognize the challenges brought by the ongoing regional tension and its impact on passengers and the aviation industry. CAAP is implementing reductions in passenger service charges and aeronautical fees to provide immediate relief and support, ensuring that air travel remains accessible during these difficult times.” said CAAP Director General Retired Lt Gen Raul del Rosario.

The Authority reaffirms its commitment to continuously implement responsive measures that will help ease the burden on the public while supporting the stability of the aviation industry.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) advises all concerned stakeholders that its offices have begun implementing hybrid work arrangements this week, with four (4) on-site work days from Mondays to Thursdays and one (1) remote work day on Fridays.

The hybrid work arrangement does not apply to technical and operational services which shall continue to follow approved duty schedules to ensure the continuity of CAAP’s services in airports, technical facilities, and other frontline offices such as the Flight Standards Inspectorate Service (FSIS), which will be operating on a skeleton workforce setup on Fridays.

Stakeholders may reach CAAP offices through official email addresses on Fridays and are advised to plan their visits by contacting the relevant office via email or telephone in advance.

This scheme supports the government’s energy conservation efforts in line with Memorandum Circular No. 114 issued by the Office of the President, ensuring efficient service delivery and maintaining the Authority's operational readiness. CAAP appreciates everyone’s understanding as we implement these measures.

✨ 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲! 💜

To every woman who dedicates her time, talent, and heart to public service — this day is for you.

On this International Women's Day, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) takes a moment to recognize and celebrate the remarkable women within its ranks. From the frontlines of aviation safety, to administrative support, to leadership and technical roles, the contributions of women in CAAP, big and small, shape the agency CAAP is proud to be.

This March, CAAP-operated airports nationwide kicked off Women's Month with a Women's Month-themed Flag Raising Ceremony, and the celebrations continue all month long across CAAP’s area offices:

💜 Area 1 | Kapehan ng mga Kababaihan dialogue on March 9 🚶‍♀️ Area 11 | Early Morning March/Parade on March 6 🏃‍♀️ Area 10 | Zumba & Fun Run on March 11 🌸 Area 7 - Mactan | Women Employees Appreciation Wall 🎂 Area 9 – Dipolog | Cake Giving for Women Employees on March 10

Other CAAP-operated airports are also joining the celebrations through the conduct of Gender and Development (GAD) seminars for employees, participation in Women's Month events of their respective local government units (LGUs), and taking part in Purple Shirt Wednesdays throughout March.

CAAP is proud of its women — yesterday, today, and always. 💜

CAAP - COTABATO AIRPORT PARTICIPATES IN THE 4TH QUARTER CY 2025 NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL

On November 6, 2025, at exactly 9:00 AM, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) - Cotabato Airport actively participated in the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), supporting the government’s ongoing initiative to promote disaster preparedness and resilience.
