The Bureau of Customs PH has transferred the Accounts Management Office (AMO) from the Intelligence Group to the Post-Clearance Audit Group.

The director of PCAG’s Trade Information and Risk Analysis Office will have direct supervision and control over AMO, according to Customs Memorandum Order No. 10-2026.

The Bureau of Customs PH and the Philippine Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc. agreed to review Customs Administrative Order 01-2001, which sets legal brokerage fee rates based on shipment dutiable value.

Under CAO 01-2001, the exact professional service fees per entry are computed based on the dutiable value of the shipment, a tiered structure that has remained largely unchanged since its issuance more than two decades ago, even as trade volumes, digital systems, and the complexity of customs transactions have evolved significantly.

Please be guided by the Memorandum issued by the Port of Manila District Collector reminding all concerned stakeholders on the 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞-𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝.
