SINGLE OFFSPRING 🤎 | Females give birth to a single offspring, which is born fully furred and with its eyes open. Newborns are precocial and are able to climb at just one day of age. Among mammals, tarsier offspring are the largest relative to the mother's body mass.

The story of Hinagdanan Cave is fascinating! 😍
Yes, it was accidentally discovered by a farmer in the 1980s while he was digging for bat guano to fertilize his banana plants. He didn't know that the hole he dug led to an amazing cave! 🌟

The name "Hinagdanan" comes from the word "hagdan," meaning "ladder" or "staircase," due to the natural limestone formations resembling stairs inside the cave. The cave's stunning stalactites and stalagmites, and the glowworms lighting up the darkness, make it a breathtaking sight! 💫

It's a Visayan word meaning "one blood," signifying deep, unbreakable unity. The Bohol Blood Compact (Sandugo) in 1565, between Datu Sikatuna & Legazpi, was the first Spanish-Filipino friendship treaty, using a ritual of mixing blood for unity, and is now a major cultural symbol celebrated yearly in the Sandugo Festival here in Bohol.
