✈️ AirAsia, DOT Launch ‘Discover More to Love’ Campaign with Fares Starting at Just ₱208

AirAsia Philippines has partnered with the Department of Tourism (DOT) to encourage more Filipinos to explore the country's diverse destinations through the "Discover More to Love" campaign, kicking off with more than 500,000 promotional seats and one-way base fares starting at just ₱208.

The partnership was officially launched during the unveiling of the Discover More to Love website at the Central Philippines Tourism Expo, where Tourism Secretary Ma. Bernadita Angara-Mathay and AirAsia Philippines President and General Manager Anna Victoria Lu reaffirmed their commitment to making travel more accessible and affordable.

🌴 First Wave of Promo Fares

Available for booking until July 5, 2026, the "July Let's Fly and Go" seat sale features one-way base fares on these domestic routes:

✈️ Manila – Bacolod: ₱208
✈️ Manila – Kalibo: ₱328
✈️ Manila – Cagayan de Oro: ₱428
✈️ Manila – Iloilo: ₱438
✈️ Manila – Cebu: ₱538
✈️ Manila – Tacloban: ₱658
✈️ Manila – Caticlan (Boracay): ₱768

The promotional fares cover travel until May 31, 2027, giving travelers plenty of time to plan their next adventure.

Beyond affordable fares, AirAsia continues to offer its 1x Zero Change Fee policy through the AirAsia MOVE app, allowing guests to change their flight schedule once without a change fee, provided changes are made at least 48 hours before departure.

According to Tourism Secretary Angara-Mathay, the campaign aims to encourage year-round domestic travel while helping sustain tourism businesses, local jobs, and regional economies.

Philippine Airlines is reopening direct flights between Manila and Saipan starting March 29, 2026, reconnecting travelers to one of the Pacific’s most stunning island escapes.

🍫 New Rates at Chocolate Hills to Take Effect This October 🌄

One of Bohol’s most iconic landmarks is updating its admission fees — so if you’ve been planning that trip to the world-famous Chocolate Hills, here’s what you need to know.

Starting October 1, 2025, the Municipality of Carmen, Bohol will implement new entrance rates under Municipal Ordinance No. 27, Series of 2023.

Here’s the updated pricing structure:
Adult Non-Bohol Visitors: ₱150
Adult Bohol Residents: ₱75
Children (6–12 years old), Non-Bohol Visitors: ₱75
Children (6–12 years old), Bohol Residents: ₱25

✈️ PAL Unlocks New Gateway: Direct Cebu–Calbayog Flights to Take Off This October

The skies over the Visayas are about to get busier — and way more exciting. 🌤️

Starting October 26, 2025, Philippine Airlines (PAL) will launch its newest route connecting Cebu and Calbayog City, Samar, with four weekly flights every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
For Eastern Visayas travelers, this means no more Manila layovers — just a quick morning hop from Samar straight to Cebu and the rest of the VisMin region.

“The launch of our Cebu-Calbayog route is a milestone in our mission to empower regional gateways like Cebu,” said PAL Express President Rabbi Vincent Ang. “This new service will provide travelers from Eastern Visayas direct access to Visayas and Mindanao, enhancing connectivity and convenience.”

🌴 More Flights to Dreamy Island Destinations
As if that wasn’t enough good news, PAL is also ramping up flights to two of the country’s most coveted beach getaways:
Cebu–Siargao and Cebu–Busuanga (Coron) will now fly thrice daily, making it easier than ever to chase waves or dive into island life — without passing through Manila.
