OPASCOR workers have always been part of a union group, and the OPASCOR management has always respected that, working together with their labor group for the good of every worker.
For the first time in OPASCOR's 35-year history, our Supervisory and Rank-and-File workers decided to form an independent union. The management respected their decision to build their own union organization, one that would truly look after their needs and rights.
Yesterday marked a historic day for every OPASCOR employee. The first-ever Labor Day Parade of the 𝐎𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐑 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐍 (𝐎𝐖𝐔) and the 𝐎𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘, 𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋, 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 (𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀) was a celebration of labor, unity, and the power of workers who built something of their own.
The management would like to congratulate 𝐎𝐖𝐔 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐠 and all its officers, and 𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐫. 𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐘𝐛𝐚ñ𝐞𝐳 and all its officers, for a very successful Labor Day Parade and event.
To all the worker-owners of OPASCOR, the backbone of our day-to-day operations, congratulations to all of you. Thank you for your dedication and love for our company.
