For the safety and well-being of all visitors, the Municipality of Badian announces the temporary closure of the Badian Canyoneering Adventure and Kawasan Falls to all visitors, effective immediately.

The temporary closure is implemented upon the recommendation of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Badian following its safety assessment, due to the rising water level and water discoloration caused by continuous rainfall.

This precautionary measure is being taken to ensure the safety of tourists, local communities, accredited guides, and all tourism stakeholders. The public is kindly requested to refrain from visiting the area while the concerned authorities continue to closely monitor weather conditions and river conditions.

Operations will resume only after the area has been declared safe for public access by the appropriate authorities.

The 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 encourages everyone to stay informed by following the official pages of Breathtaking Badian and the Cebu Provincial Tourism Office for verified updates.
