The Bureau of Customs has issued rules and regulations for implementing the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Origin Management System (OMS), including the Product Evaluation Report (PER) Management System (PMS) — marking another step toward digitalizing trade facilitation in the Philippines.

Through these systems, the processing and issuance of PERs for preferential tariff treatment will now be faster, more efficient, and aligned with international best practices. With the CMO in place, the OMS is now fully operational.
