Complete post via LinkedIn: Answering PEX’s survey about Process Re-Imagined made me think about the following options they’ve given.
What is the future of process improvement and how will will tackle this problem in every organization?
Here’s some of my thoughts while thinking about this, please add in the comment below to add to the list so we can help our community.💙
1. Get more people involved in solving problems.
2. Admit that some problems won’t be solved for a while and commit resources to those that are important and can be solved.
3. Have a clear measurement of continuous improvement, or process improvement success.
4. Merging of process improvement and automation/ digital transformation teams for better collaboration.
5. Dedication to improving methodologies and strategies. We are improving products and services, but how about how we do things?
6. Leaders must focus a d support real permanent silutions rather than looking for quick fix
7. Reward employees who are good at preventing fires and engage in long-term problem solving. Don’t give prominence to those who are consistently putting out fires.
Some of these insights (see image) are not new and the rest are just the latest buzz words, as continuous improvement advocates how are we re-imagining the future of process?
