Dear Fellow Transport Service Cooperatives and Consolidated Transport Entities,
Good day to everyone.
Following our recent discussion and agreement on Region X Congressional Advocacy for the FY 2027 National Budget, and the need for continued government support for modernized and consolidated public transport entities, we have agreed to personally visit the offices of our respective Members of Congress.
While formal advocacy letters and supporting documents will be sent by email, we believe personal appearance and direct consultation are equally important. Our objective is not merely to submit a letter, but to personally explain the actual situation of our transport cooperatives and consolidated entities—particularly those that have already invested in modernization, incurred financial obligations, and continue to provide public transportation services despite rising operating costs and financial pressures.
Through these face-to-face discussions, we hope our Members of Congress will better understand our concerns and consider raising and supporting them during the FY 2027 budget deliberations.
