So today, pause before posting.
Look beyond the mirror of public opinion.
Remember whose reflection you were born to carry.

Electricity Price Shock: Manila vs Bangkok vs Dubai

A ₱5,100 electricity bill in Manila (around 300 kWh) would cost:

Note to self: My purpose is not about me—it never was, and it never will be. Every calling, every opportunity, every accomplishment is designed to point beyond myself. The moment I start believing that it’s about my strength, my wisdom, or my success, I’ve already missed the point. My purpose is always bigger than me because it comes from Someone greater than me.

Whenever a door opens or recognition comes, I must remember to redirect every bit of glory away from myself and toward the One who deserves it all. Whatever good others may see in me is simply a reflection of God’s grace working through me. I’m just a steward, not the source.

As Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV): “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Everything I do—my work, my ministry, my writing, my speaking—should lead people to see more of Him and less of me. When the spotlight shines, it’s my responsibility to turn it upward. Because in the end, only God is worthy of any glory.

Potential is something you develop—it’s the seed that needs tending through discipline, learning, and perseverance. Calling, however, is something that develops you. It’s God’s hand at work inside your heart, shaping your character, stretching your faith, and aligning your life with His divine plan.

Passion is that initial spark—it ignites excitement and gets you moving. But passion alone isn’t enough. Purpose is what sustains you when the excitement fades, when the road gets long, and when obedience feels costly. Purpose gives meaning to your pain and direction to your energy.

Over the years, I’ve learned that potential without calling leads to burnout, and passion without purpose leads to distraction. But when all four align—potential, calling, passion, and purpose—you find both joy and endurance in the journey.

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

In the end, it’s not just about what you can work on, but what God is working in you.

It still amazes me how much the Bible actually says about money. When you dig into Scripture, you’ll find more than two thousand verses dealing with money, wealth and possessions. Even Jesus, in His teaching ministry, spoke about money in roughly fifteen percent of His messages and in almost a third of His parables. It was one of His most frequent topics.

But have you ever wondered why?

Jesus didn’t talk about money because He was fixated on wealth or because He wanted us to chase after it. He talked about money because He understood something we often forget: money is ultimately a heart issue. For many people, money becomes the very thing that keeps them from following Him fully, trusting Him deeply or surrendering their lives completely.

The Bible speaks so much about money because God cares about you. He doesn’t want money to control you, destroy your peace or dictate your identity. Instead, He wants you to see money for what it truly is — a tool. A tool to bless your family, to help others and to support the work of His kingdom. God’s goal is not to restrict you, but to free you so you can live with wisdom, purpose and generosity.
