You were shaped by the Creator, not curated for the feed.
There is a quiet battle inside many of us every time we scroll — a subtle pressure to compare, to impress, to curate a version of ourselves that others will applaud. The world constantly says, “Look like this, live like this, achieve like this.” But long before the first photo was uploaded or the first filter was created, God already spoke something truer, deeper, eternal:
“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” — Genesis 1:27 (ESV)
You were not made to reflect a trend.
You were not designed to chase likes or fear comments.
You were formed to mirror the likeness of a holy, loving, intentional Creator.
When we anchor our worth to social media, our value goes up and down as fast as the algorithm changes. But when our identity rests in God, it stands on something unshakable. His image in you is not edited, filtered, or temporary — it is eternal, dignifying, and purposeful.
So today, pause before posting.
Look beyond the mirror of public opinion.
Remember whose reflection you were born to carry.
Let your life — not just your profile — reflect God’s glory.
Live secure, grounded, and loved, because the One who made you called you very good.
