Sitio Luas, Brgy. Arpili, Balamban Relief Operation Update!!

LNC Ventures and Transport Services, together with the barangay officials of Brgy. Arpili and in cooperation with the directives of former Mayor/Board Member Alex Binghay, distributed goods, clothes, and solar lights to the farthest portion of Balamban that has not yet received assistance and remains unenergized.

It has been 14 days since Typhoon Tino struck. The situation in Sitio Luas, Brgy. Arpili has gradually improved through the spirit of bayanihan, and it is hoped that things will soon return to normal.

Brgy. Nangka, Balamban Relief Operation Update

As we continue to recover from the recent typhoon, our team is working tirelessly to provide relief to all affected families in the Municipality of Balamban. Through this simple gesture, we hope to ease the pain and hardship that our fellow Cebuanos have endured.

To all Cebuanos — please know that we are thinking of you and sending our love and support. You have weathered the storm, and together we will rise above this challenge. Let’s rebuild and recover, stronger and more resilient than ever!

The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) and Philippine Mine Safety and Environment Association (PMSEA), the country's leading advocate for occupational safety, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility in the minerals industry, will organize the 𝟕𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞
(ANMSEC) on November 18-21, 2025, at the CAP-John Hay Trade and Cultural Center in Baguio City.

This annual flagship event is jointly organized with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-MGB, the Chamber of Mines of the Philippines, the Philippine Society of Mining Engineers (PSEM), and several industry partners, including mining companies, quarries, cement plants, suppliers, service contractors, and other professional organizations.

The 71st ANMSEC, themed "𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞: 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬," emphasizes the critical role of collaboration, innovation, and shared accountability in propelling the mining sector toward sustainable and inclusive growth.
Every year, ANMSEC is a major gathering for the mining community, bringing together experts, partners, contractors, suppliers, students, and government representatives to exchange ideas, establish collaborations, and recognize excellence in mine safety and environmental stewardship.

Among the highlights of ANMSEC’s yearly activities are the following:

-Sports Fest (Badminton, Golf, Bowling, and Pickleball)
-Minero Cup II (Honor of Kings Tournament)
-8th PMEA Mining Forum
-Mining Exhibit by Mining Companies and Suppliers
-YAMAN PH Student Congress
-Community Relations Conference
-Minerals Industry Symposium in cooperation with PSEM

-Mine Safety Field Demonstration and Field Competition

The Testimonial Dinner and Annual Awards Night will serve as the culminating event of the 71st ANMSEC. The highlight of the evening will be the Presidential Mineral Industry Environmental Awards (PMIEA), which recognize outstanding mining companies that exemplify excellence in mineral exploration, quarry operations, surface and underground mining, and mineral processing. The event will also honor the winners of the 2025 Best Mining Forest Contest, Safest Mines Awards, and Best Mines Personalities, celebrating exemplary performance and commitment to responsible mining practices across the industry.
