Job Description
Red Pallet Provider Co., a leader in the wooden pallet leasing industry, is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Specialist to oversee and maintain accurate inventory records of pallets across warehouses, customer sites, and repair facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring optimal pallet availability, proper tracking, and efficient movement of assets, supporting smooth leasing operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Tracking
• Maintain accurate records of pallet inventory across warehouses, customer sites, and in-transit units.
• Implement pallet count and audit schedules (monthly, quarterly, or as requested by clients).
• Use ERP/Inventory Management systems to record incoming, outgoing, and damaged pallets.
• Ensure segregation of usable, repairable, and scrap pallets for reporting and decision-making.
Operational Support
• Coordinate with operations, sales, and logistics teams to ensure pallets are available when and where needed.
• Support pallet care orientation and client reporting on inventory status.
• Assist in scheduling and monitoring pallet returns, retrievals, and rotations.
Control & Compliance
• Prevent and report pallet losses by monitoring discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce shrinkage and damage rates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on asset handling, documentation, and reporting.
Reporting & Analytics
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory movement, damaged pallets, and customer balances.
• Provide management with accurate data for billing, audits, and operational decisions.
• Highlight abnormal trends (e.g., high pallet loss at specific customer sites).

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in inventory, logistics, or warehouse management.
• Experience in leasing, pooling, or FMCG industries is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, or inventory software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and clients.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Other Requirements
• Willing to do field visits (warehouse & client sites) when necessary.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean, or 5S practices is a plus.
• Strong sense of accountability and integrity in asset management.
