Before this project, there are expected and unexpected challenges for its implementation based on one area of study
-Colorum vehicles
-Private vehicles
-Independent Arrivals from other municipalities during peak times(rush hours). (Sibat)
-Driver road ethiquette
-Suki system

As such invalidates the some assumptions
-That any passing driver can pick up on the "line only" area for fear of retaliation
-The suki system is a system where passengers prefer to wait for a specific driver while letting other drivers pass in exchange for tangible benefits.

Other observations
-Drivers often call each other to in order to provide the traffic information such as: who's(driver) coming and when
inorder to maximize earnings

Silver lining
-That passengers wait for independent arrivals during rush hours means that passengers value the time of getting on their destination.

Conclusion
-This project requires pivot to provide tangible benefits towards drivers

Greetings
Good day to all passengers of the Ifugao public transport system. Hi, I am Mr Dumapi, John Stanford from Banaue. I have a project and I need your help to realize it. Hopefully, we will get to the pilot phase.

Project details
This project aims to predict the arrival times(ETA) of the public transport on the main lines-Banaue, to Solano in relation to the user’s position. This project needs the downloading of an app to user’s smartphone to be able to use this service.
With this project,
you can see WHO’S coming, (if you know the driver)

predict WHEN it is coming and (example: in 5minutes)

WHAT vehicle type (example: jeepney)

especially IF a vehicle is coming.(Case: It is 7pm on Lagawe and you’re going to Banaue)



Benefits
This is especially useful on the rainy season.

Or during the typhoon, or after the typhoon.

Or when you are in a rush.

For office-workers, students: we hear you.

“We will help you get home.” During UNUSUAL hours. NO to the UNREASONABLE hours.

It will reduce your stress when commuting.

This is for the new generation born and raised in new technology.

Project status
The project beta is in finishing touches but for now spread the info. We will update you on the start of the pilot. We still need drivers to start this project.
