Vintage "Double Shield" Roughout Field Boots Deadstock

Vintage mid-70s to early-80s State-Issued Chinese Geologist / Field Exploration Boots (Deadstock Condition)
Double Shield (双盾) / Shanghai Long March Leather Shoe Factory (上海长征皮鞋厂)
Deadstock / Unworn New Old Stock (NOS)
This is an incredibly rare, historically significant piece of 1970s-80s Chinese industrial gear. Produced by the legendary state-owned Shanghai Long March Leather Shoe Factory under the "Double Shield" trademark, these boots were strictly allocated to geological survey teams, petroleum workers, and wilderness explorers during China's resource mapping boom. Because they were made under a planned economy system, these boots feature over-engineered, heavy-duty construction metrics rarely seen in modern commercial footwear.

Upper Material: Rugged, canvas-lined rough-out suede leather in a beautiful vintage russet brown color.
Sole: This is an authentic, hand-cut upcycled vehicle tire sole. The bottom clearly retains the original tire sidewall text: “TREAD SIDEWALL” and “NYLON PLIES, MAX. LOAD”. This raw, salvaged element perfectly anchors the boots to the resource-scarce mid-1970s era.. Built to offer maximum flexibility for trekking while remaining completely puncture-proof against sharp rocks.
Hardware: Outfitted with structural copper/brass vamp rivets at the high-stress throat seam to prevent blowouts, paired with non-rusting aluminum eyelets.
Construction: Heavy-duty welted construction securing the tire sole to the upper. Includes classic pointed ankle pull tabs.
Profile: Bulbous/"chonky" toe, providing a streamlined silhouette and comfortable forefoot flexion.
Markings: Features the highly sought-after original woven cloth "Double Shield" tongue tag, alongside crisp historical factory stamps on the lining (Size 25, Width 3, and production batch serial).
Internal Verification Stamps: The interior canvas lining features a pristine, original blue ink factory stamp showing the size 25, wide fit profile 3, and the complete state logistical serial number: 8230823 (dating the production precisely to 1982).
These boots are in pristine Deadstock (Unworn) condition. The rough-out leather retains its original texture and has not been treated, altered. The aluminum eyelets, copper rivets, and tire-tread soles are fully intact with no dry rot. A perfect archive or collection piece ready to wear or display.
Measurements & Sizing: Stamped Size: 25 (Centimeters) Perfect fit for those who wear 7E in Red Wing or 8US in sneakers. Footbed length is 26.3 cm.
Fit Profile: These feature a "Type 3" (三型) wide-volume width, designed historically to accommodate thick wool or cotton winter socks.
We've added a cushioned leather liner/insole for maximum comfort and for you to wear it with regular socks.
Weight: 680 grams per pair, or 1.36 kilos for both pairs (considered lightweight compared to most heritage boots which weigh 900grams on average)
Perfect for high-end vintage collectors, military/industrial surplus enthusiasts, or rugged heritage workwear style.

Alden 990 Plain Toe Blucher (PTB) – Color 8 Shell Cordovan

The iconic Alden 990 Plain Toe Bluchers in Horween Color 8 Shell Cordovan. Truly a cornerstone of classic American menswear, the 990 is famous for its clean lines, robust Goodyear welt construction, and the beautiful, deep burgundy luster that only aged Color 8 Shell Cordovan can achieve.

Brand: Alden (New England)
Model: 990 Plain Toe Blucher (PTB)
Material: Genuine Horween Shell Cordovan
Color: Color 8 (Deep Burgundy / Oxblood)
Last: Barrie Last (Typically runs 1/2 size large)
Outsoles: Factory Double Oak Leather Outsoles featuring Alden's robust, hard-wearing oak-tanned leather bends.
Construction: Classic 360-degree Goodyear Reverse Stitch Welt (pre-stitch split welt), offering excellent water resistance, a distinct silhouette, and the capability to be resoleable for decades.
Heels: Standard factory stacked leather heels with the original rubber gentleman's corner/slug insert for traction and durability.
Support: Features Alden's signature tempered steel shank contoured under the arch for superior, all-day structural support.
Size: 8.5 E (US 8 1/2 C/E — 'C' heel, 'E' ball width for a slightly wider, ultra-comfortable fit)
Built on the famous Alden Barrie Last, these generally fit about a half-size larger than standard US dress shoe sizing. If you typically wear a US 9.5D/9E, these should be a perfect fit, but please know your Alden Barrie last sizing before purchasing.

Condition & Care
These shoes are in very good to excellent pre-owned condition and have been meticulously cared for:
Uppers: Showing beautiful, healthy "rolls" characteristic of high-quality shell cordovan, with absolutely no micro-creasing.
Insoles & Linings: The gold leaf "Alden New England" heel pad stamps are fully intact and crisp, indicating light wear. Additionally, the heel liners have been professionally reinforced with premium vegetable-tanned leather for added longevity and comfort.
Soles/heels: The factory Double Oak Leather outsoles remain firm and completely solid. They have tons of life left before ever needing a resole or a protective rubber topy. Heels have drags but not yet completely worn down to the leather stacks (could easily be replaced by a cobbler)
Maintenance: Only treated with specialized cordovan care products (Famaco/Saphir) and always stored with cedar shoe trees to maintain their shape.

What’s included:
Alden 990 Shell Cordovan Shoes
Extra sets of replacement dress laces (and the original, but broken, Alden laces)

NOT included:
shoe trees with brass k***s
Famaco shell cordovan cream
Horsehair brush

Rolling Dub Trio Coupen Italian Horsehide

Repriced to P5000
Made in Japan
Italian teacore horsehide/horsebutt (very dense and very tight grain)
Condition: They are structurally sound and highly wearable, though they would benefit from a future resole.
Well-patinaed. Shows visible heel drag, surface cracks (not all the way through the leather), scuffs, and dings. Ideal for someone who appreciates a rugged, broken-in look rather than a pristine finish. The original metal toe taps have been removed. This is a very common modification among Coupen owners to improve practical daily wear, as the stock taps tend to wear down quickly with regular concrete use.
If you prefer your footwear in pristine or lightly used condition, this heavily patinaed pair may not be the right fit for you. Please review the photos carefully before purchasing.

Please note that the original size marking is no longer readable. The actual footbed length measures 27.5 cm, which translates perfectly for anyone who typically wears a Red Wing US 8D or a US 9 in sneakers.

Inclusions: Original leather laces + flat cotton laces. No box

Selling for $105 / P6500 + shipping cost (slightly negotiable, will consider reasonable offers)
Open for trade to your Japanese boots size 7-7.5 (or 8-8.5 sneaker size). Same tier, and straight swap only.

Sagawa Fujii (佐川藤井) Handmade Woodgrain Acetate Wellington

Used in excellent condition.
Frame is handmade in Japan, lens installation and distribution is done in Korea where the company is officially registered.

The brand was officially launched in Korea in 2006. Its concept was inspired by a small leather workshop in Japan. The name "Sagawa Fujii" is derived from the surnames of the two individuals—Sagawa and Fujii—who ran that original leather workshop. Ichikawa Takahide was influenced by how leather develops a richer texture and color as it ages. He applied this philosophy to eyewear, choosing wood because it also gains a unique character through use.

Model 7080 (probably discontinued as it no longer exists in their catalog). This is a full acetate model with a wood texture.

Final reprice from P25000 -> P20000 shipped (for pullout in a month if not sold)

Grail collector's item (museum-worthy piece)
Excellent vintage condition: Tight and firm hinges, very healthy acetate (not at all brittle or weathered, in fact still feels new).
In keeping with its vintage heritage, this piece features gentle character marks, including subtle fading to the etched interior markings, and faint surface-level swirls that attest to its authentic provenance.

Handmade in Fukui, Japan, from the brand regarded as the godfather of Japanese eyewear, Masunaga (since 1905).

This is the original Koki Custom 72 (not the re-issue Koki "000"), a historic and iconic frame from Masunaga Optical, initially created in the early 1970s and famously sealed in a time capsule at the 1970 Osaka World’s Fair. It serves as the foundation for the "MASUNAGA 光輝 (Koki)" series, which focuses on the brand's philosophy of uncompromising quality.

History and Significance
- 1970 Expo: The original "Custom 72" was selected to be placed in a time capsule at the 1970 Osaka Expo as a representation of top-tier Japanese eyewear.
- Legacy: The model was resurrected as part of the Masunaga Koki line (model 000) to celebrate this history, with the "000" representing "the beginning" of the Masunaga collection.
- Design: It is a bold, classic rectangular/wellington-shaped frame.

Size 48□20 Color Black (The re-issue "000" is size 50-22)
Frame shape: Wellington
Thick 7-barrel hinge
Leather hardcase (not sure if this is a replacement or its original in the 70s, but the metal is thick and heavy, and wrapped in real leather, fit is exact too)

Frame width (outer): 138mm
Inner width (hinge-to-hinge): 130mm
