A day at the Musée du Louvre, Part 2. Actually, it took me 2 days to finish all of the museum! It’s huge as it’s packed of renowned work of arts. From famous original paintings of Leonardo da Vinci and tons of sculptures of Michaelangelo and many more too many to mention here.🇫🇷

My last last trip to Paris from Toronto was by Air France (January 2020). My previous flights were usually on Emirates Airline A380 as I enjoyed my free airline tickets from Dubai to Paris France. Thanks to American Hospital Dubai.

A panoramic one-hour sightseeing cruise along the famous Seine River, covering only 30 kilometers out of 700+ kilometers stretch of the river. I enjoyed the tour down the Seine, seeing Paris' iconic monuments like the Eiffel Tower & Notre-Dame and famous bridges (Pont Alexandre III & Pont des Arts). I t**e some time exploring Paris a little differently and uncovered the historic heart of the city of love!♥️

Inside the amazing Notre-Dame cathedral is as awe-inspiring French Gothic architecture compared to the outside structure. The intricacies of its stained glass windows, some are massive in size and the majestic pillars are just awesome. A scale model of the cathedral is also displayed in the lobby. The entrance fee was €5 and if one decide to go up the bell tower, one has to pay extra.

Notre-Dame de Paris is a medieval Catholic cathedral is considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture. It was built in 1163 under the reign of King Louis VII and was completed by 1345! I was lucky enough to visit this famous cathedral before it was gotten with fire in 2019. 🕍🇫🇷

The Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. Constructed from 1887, it towers 330 meters and it's accessible by inclined rail and 2 elevators reaching the tip. If you do not have a tour group joined, be prepared to wait on line for at least an hour before going up the tower. Of my 4 trips to Paris, I was able to go up Eiffel Tower twice. And, of course the first trip was more exciting and memorable than the second one.🗼🇫🇷

Five years ago, I made it a rule to never come back to a country I already visited. But each rule has its exception. And, Paris France was the exception! Since I stepped onto its soil in 2017, I have been coming back to Paris every year with the idea of experiencing its four seasons. I started off summer of 2017, fall of 2018, spring of 2019 and, lastly winter of 2020. I was captivated by Paris, albeit some Parisians are snouty, but generally they are friendly. Furthermore, learning the European French language was challenging as it's different from the Canadian French. Some of my friends were wondering why I broke my travelling rule, well... I will leave that to your wild imagination! One thing for sure, partly it's personal!!! Have fun watching!
