According to OAG’s September 2025 report, Philippine Airlines tops the list as the most on-time airline in Southeast Asia, achieving an impressive 92% on-time performance with only 1.72% flight cancellations. This milestone highlights the carrier’s strong operational discipline and commitment to customer satisfaction, reinforcing its reputation as one of the region’s most reliable full-service airlines.
Following closely, Indonesia’s Citilink ranks second with an 85.41% on-time rate and zero flight cancellations, marking a standout achievement for the low-cost carrier. Its consistent punctuality showcases the effectiveness of Indonesia’s growing aviation infrastructure and Citilink’s focus on efficient scheduling. Meanwhile, Malaysia Airlines takes third place with a 77.13% on-time rate, maintaining a balance between service quality and operational consistency across its regional and international routes.
Rounding out the list, AirAsia posted a 63% on-time performance a modest figure but supported by a notably low 0.19% cancellation rate. Together, these rankings reveal a promising trend in Southeast Asia’s aviation industry, where airlines are increasingly prioritizing punctuality and reliability to meet passengers’ rising expectations for seamless travel.
