Proudly raising the colors that unite all Filipinos, SM City La Union commemorated National Flag Day with a solemn yet meaningful flag-raising ceremony on May 28, 2026.
The program commenced with the Entrance of Colors, led by the Customer Relations Services team, followed by the raising of the Philippine flag and the singing of the national anthem.
A highlight of the ceremony was the recitation of the Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, led by Drake J. Lim, Mall Manager. In his inspirational message, he emphasized the importance of the national flag as a symbol of unity, identity, and shared responsibility, encouraging everyone present to uphold its meaning in their daily lives.
โLet the flag remind us that despite our differences, we stand as one Filipino people committed to serve, uplift one another, and take pride in our nation every day,โ Lim said.
Joining the activity were SM City La Union administrative employees, along with representatives from affiliates and tenant partners.
