| Drum and Lyre Dance Competition (PRELIMINARY ROUND)

SM WITHDRAWS FROM P4.6B MARKET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

SM Prime Holdings Inc. has officially withdrawn its proposal to redevelop the Baguio Public Market. Mayor Benjamin Magalong confirmed that the city government received a formal letter from the company notifying officials of its decision to pull out of the project.

The proposed redevelopment had been under public discussion and review, drawing mixed reactions from vendors, heritage advocates, and residents. With SM’s withdrawal, the city government is expected to reassess its options for the future of the Baguio Public Market, including the possibility of revising redevelopment plans or exploring alternative proposals that align with the city’s economic and heritage priorities.

2.b. Resident or have resided in the Cordillera for a minimum of one (1) year
3. No pending cases at the time of application
4. Has TIME and COMMITMENT to volunteer
5. Visionary, team-player and open to learnings
6. Can cope with fast-paced project processes

Application Period: December 3 to 10, 2025
Orientation: December 12, 2025

Application Fee: PhP100.00 (non-refundable)
