📦 J&T Express and Shopee Update

Online posts and seller advisories circulating on social media suggest that J&T Express may no longer be available as a shipping partner on Shopee Philippines starting February 9.

As of now, no official public statement has been released by Shopee Philippines or J&T Express confirming the change. Information currently circulating appears to be based on seller notifications and community-shared updates.

Customers and sellers are advised to wait for official announcements from Shopee or J&T Express for confirmation and further details.

There has been a lot of talk in the e-commerce community, and it’s time to look at the facts.

While we are still waiting for a formal public statement from Shopee and J&T’s main offices, multiple internal sources and seller notifications point to a major change this coming Monday.

What we know so far:

Sellers nationwide have reported receiving system alerts that J&T Express will be removed as a Shopee-Supported Logistics (SSL) partner effective February 9, 2026.

While "unofficial" to the general public, the notice you see circulating is the same one sent to thousands of sellers. Local J&T branches have also begun notifying their regular pick-up clients of the transition.

Why the change? Rumors suggest a shift in contract terms, with Shopee moving to prioritize its own SPX Express and Flash Express to streamline operations.

J&T is NOT closing: Don't worry—J&T isn't going anywhere! They remain the primary partner for TikTok Shop and continue to serve Lazada and private shipping needs.

What should you do?

Buyers: Check your "To Ship" orders. If you prefer J&T, you might see fewer shops offering it as an option next week.

Sellers: Double-check your Shipping Settings today. Make sure you have alternative couriers enabled so your shop remains active come Monday.

We are keeping an eye out for the official joint statement to clarify if this removal is permanent or just a temporary system adjustment.
