What an incredible day! 🎉✈️

On 29 May, PNG Air made history when we completed our maiden flight into Moro and officially brought Mangi Kutubu home!

Hundreds of people from Kutubu and the Southern Highlands came out to welcome the aircraft in a beautiful celebration filled with culture, pride, and community spirit.

Mangi Kutubu is more than just a plane — it is owned by PRK on behalf of the Kutubu landowners and leased to PNG Air, making this the first time in Papua New Guinea's history that landowners have owned and leased an aircraft to a major airline. That is something truly special. 🇵🇬

To the people of Kutubu and the Southern Highlands — this one is for you. We are proud to serve your communities and honoured to be part of this historic moment.

Big news from your People's Choice airline! ✈️
New aircraft are on their way — and this time, there is a special twist!
The ATR aircraft for Ok Tedi Mining Ltd (OTML) landowners will be managed and flown by PNG Air across our network.
PNG Air Board Chairman Mr. Augustine Mano visited ATR headquarters in Toulouse France with Prime Minister Hon., James Marape last week to catch a first glimpse of the new aircraft.
