The luxury hotels living rent free in my head. Every once in a while a hotel ruins me for other luxury hotels. These are the five-star hotels I can’t stop thinking about, can’t stop recommending, and absolutely cannot stop talking about.

As a luxury travel advisor for 9+ years, selling multiple millions in luxury travel a year, I look at (and book) dreamy hotels for a living.
These are the ones I cannot stop thinking about.

Hotel: Ett Hem
Location: Stockholm, Sweden

“Ett Hem” means “A Home” in Swedish — and somehow, improbably, this 25-room Östermalm townhouse actually delivers on that. Designed by Ilse Crawford. Staffed by people who know your name before you arrive. Breakfast in a greenhouse. Dinner by the fire in a kitchen you can sit in. No lobby, no front desk, no performance of luxury. Just fireplaces, bookshelves, and the quiet feeling that you’ve been let in on something most people don’t know about.

To say I’m so excited for my upcoming Paris fall trip is an understatement 😁 I have a working list of all the Basic B* things I want to do (eat at the best Paris hotspots, vintage store shopping, French pharmacy goodies, and of course a long list of luxury Paris hotels to scout….) it’s going to be a ch*****ne and croissant induced doozy but a very productive trip all in the name of research 😉

Austin just got its most beautiful hotel — and I had to see it for myself.

1 Hotel Austin is everything I want to hand a client: a rooftop pool with Lady Bird Lake views, two restaurants (including one from a Michelin-starred chef), a 24-hour gym, and rooms that look like a Texas Hill Country dream. Every detail — native stone, reclaimed wood, floor-to-ceiling windows — is designed around the natural landscape. It’s luxury that actually feels intentional.

The first-floor coffee shop, Neighbors Café, is a great neighborhood coffee shop with specialty coffee, matcha, fresh juices, all locally sourced. And then upstairs on the 16th floor, WATR rooftop restaurant is the kind of place you linger over dinner far longer than you planned.

If you’re visiting Austin — or live here and are wanting a staycation — this is the newest luxury hotel worth booking. I can secure VIP perks and amenities that you won’t get booking on your own.
