Put a frog in a pot, fill it with water and start heating the water. As the water temperature begins to rise, the frog adjusts its body temperature accordingly. The frog continues to adjust its body temperature with the ever-increasing temperature of the water. Just when the water is about to boil, the frog can't adjust anymore. At this time, the frog chooses to jump.
The Frog tries to jump, but is unable to do so because it has lost all its strength adjusting to the rising water temperature. Very right now the frog dies.
What killed the frog?
Think about it!
I know many of us are going to say boiling water. But the truth about what killed the frog was his own inability to decide when to jump.
Tasks we have to adjust to people and situations, but we have to be sure when we have to adjust and when we have to move on.
If we let people exploit us physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually or mentally, they will continue to do so.
Let's decide when to jump!
