Port_of_Salalah welcomed H.E. Maartje Peters, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Sultanate of Oman.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the Port’s strategic role in global trade and logistics, while exchanging views on strengthening cooperation and exploring new opportunities between Oman and the Netherlands.

We sincerely appreciate H.E. Ambassador Peters for her visit and look forward to further strengthening collaboration and fostering lasting partnerships across the maritime, logistics, and trade sectors.

نظّم البرنامج التدريبي الثالث ضمن المبادرة التخصصية لإدارة المنشآت والهندسة البحرية في سلطنة عُمان لعامي 2025–2026، بإشراف وزارة النقل والاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات. وأُقيم البرنامج تحت عنوان «مشاريع التطوير وإدارة الأزمات في ميناء صلالة»، خلال الفترة من 29 سبتمبر إلى 1 أكتوبر 2026.

ويهدف البرنامج إلى تنمية الكفاءات الوطنية، وتعزيز خبرات المشاركين في مجال إدارة المنشآت والهندسة البحرية، من خلال التركيز على مشاريع التطوير وسبل التعامل مع الأزمات في بيئة الموانئ.

hosted the third training programme under Oman’s Specialized Programme in Facilities Management and Marine Engineering for 2025–2026, under the supervision of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology. Held from 29 September to 1 October 2026, the programme: “Development Projects and Crisis Management at Salalah Port.”

The programme aims to develop national expertise and strengthen participants’ knowledge and specialist skills in facilities management and marine engineering, with a focus on development projects and crisis response in port environments.

شارك في النسخة الثانية من منتدى الأعمال العُماني الأفريقي الصيني، الذي يجمع نخبة من قادة الأعمال والمستثمرين من سلطنة عُمان وأفريقيا والصين لبحث فرص التعاون وتعزيز التكامل التجاري. ويواصل ميناء صلالة، بفضل موقعه الاستراتيجي القريب من الأسواق الأفريقية، وبنيته الأساسية المتطورة، وكفاءته التشغيلية، وخدمات الربط البحري المباشر مع الصين وجنوب شرق آسيا وأفريقيا، ترسيخ مكانته بوابةً رئيسيةً للتجارة العالمية ومحوراً يربط بين القارات والأسواق ذات النمو المتسارع.
معاً، نبني جسوراً جديدة للتجارة والاستثمار بين أفريقيا وآسيا عبر سلطنة عُمان.

Port of Salalah participated in the second edition of the Oman–Africa–China Business Forum, which brings together leading business leaders and investors from the Sultanate of Oman, Africa, and China to explore cooperation opportunities and strengthen trade integration. With its strategic location near African markets, advanced infrastructure, operational efficiency, and direct maritime connectivity with China, Southeast Asia, and Africa, Port of Salalah continues to reinforce its position as a key gateway to global trade and a hub connecting continents and rapidly growing markets.

Together, we are building new bridges for trade and investment between Africa and Asia through the Sultanate of Oman.
