We are looking for a "Superstar" Class 2 or 4 Driver

Location: Whangarei
Start time: 5am
Average day: 10-12 hours,
Monday - Friday

The candidate we require:

• Must have a Full NZ Driver’s licence Class 1 minimum. A DG/Forklift licence is preferred. If you don’t hold a DG you must be prepared to obtain one. This is a must in our industry
[The driver would need this as a pre-requisite as we carry "Dangerous Goods" on all vehicles].

• Have a clean criminal history

• Must have a clean drivers license

• Be physically fit, the driver will be required to unload and handle deliveries of all shapes & sizes.

• Have a great attitude & be reliable. Your team are counting on you.

• This is an ongoing fulltime position with an immediate start for the right applicant.

Personal attributes:

Must have the ability to manage your own workflow and also able to work within a team environment, be well presented, have excellent communication skills, be able to retain information, have great face to face customer service skills.

This is an entry level position into the Transport industry. Opportunities are available for drivers to obtain their truck licence's down the track.

You will learn all aspects of working within a "fast paced" transport environment.

Your main role is face to face interaction with our customers, completing deliveries around Northland. No day is ever the same.

We are a small dynamic team - so there is no room for slackness, days off etc.

We are looking for someone with a good work ethic, dedication & a can do attitude.

* Energetic, fast paced work environment
* 55 plus hours a week, between the hours of 5am-5.30pm (approx.)

Skills and Experience

* You must be able to confidently and safely operate a Class 4 vehicle. A clean and valid NZ Class 4 Driver’s License with Dangerous Goods and Forklift endorsement;

* A minimum of 2 years driving experience is required
* Local knowledge of the Northland area
* The position is a physical position and involves running around and heavy lifting, for this reason you must be physically capable;
* Outstanding customer service skills and Strong communication skills are a plus
* Must be driven by deadlines and have great time management skills.
* Be able to adhere to paperwork systems
* Team player, reliable & flexible
* Honest

Your tasks will include but are not limited to

* Picking up and dropping off goods to/ from clients
* Customer Interaction
* Helping load and unload our vehicles

2022 SEASON - WANTED [4] KIWIFRUIT DRIVERS
This position requires the drivers to cart the kiwifruit bins from the orchards to the pack-houses locally here in Whangarei.
The position is on a casual basis and runs for approximately 8 to 10 weeks starting in Mid March.
All applicants must have:
• Their own transport to and from the yard.
• Hold a Class 4 license
• Work in conjunction with the company's / Pack-house's health and safety policy.
