The cycle path is finished! All the way from the Welly Waterfront to the Blown Away Wellington Sign you can ride without going on a road!!! 🥳

For those of us who ride it everyday we've seen the incremental improvements over over the years. But for those visiting Wellington and riding it for the first time, it's such a beautiful, high quality cycle route that it can be the highlight of their trip to Aotearoa! I think what gets people gushing, is that there are no 'dud' sections. It's so beautiful the whole way. People just don't expect it when jumping on a bike in a capital city.

AND we've seen more and more families with kids riding around the bays, because it's safe for everyone, now. It's so dang exciting!

Welcome to our new friends FTN Motion who’ve set up shop with us on the waterfront!

If you’ve walked past us lately, you’ve likely seen their signature Streetdog electric motorcycles in the window.

Now’s your chance to ride one!

This Saturday, 5th of September 9:00-2:00, they’re holding a test ride event from our store- promoting their limited edition Phantom series. You can book space on the FTN Motion website on find the link in our bio. The spots are filling up fast!

FTN Motion is a Kiwi company, started in Wellington and now have a factory in Hamilton. They’ve set up a servicing workshop at our store and have new bikes to browse. This isn’t just a new product we’re selling- when you book a test ride, you’ll be helped by Will the Wellington Streetdog guru, who knows these bikes inside out.

We’ve got the Tern Quickhaul and the Tern GSD cargo bikes available for lease now.

The GSD (2) comfortably fits two children on the back via attached seats or cushion. The Quickhaul (1) is zippy and lighter and can fit one child on the rear rack.
Or maybe you just want to haul cargo while keeping your commute green 🍃

Available for either a four week or twelve week minimum period. Seats and attachments available too. Visit us in store.

Take the time to visit the waterfront this evening. It's a lovely atmosphere with art, music, fire, space for reflection and of course, good kai!

The massive projections, like Super Star Waka, make the big structures we're so familiar with come alive to tell stories.

Also, today is a nice day to ride a bike! How about an afternoon ride on Ara Tupua before a stroll along the waterfront. Bring your puffer and you'll have a great time.

It's an easy ride to Petone and back all on bike lanes separated from cars. Or you can ride to Days Bay and take the ferry back.

It's easy! We provide helmets, locks and give you full instruction on how to use our bikes.
