Natty is the work of Cat McKay. Besides the beautiful handmade Rimu jewellery range, Natty also design and produce hand-printed textiles, illustrated gift cards and prints. The latest range celebrates Aotearoa, and includes a beautiful selection of tea towels and pillowcases, which are lightly packaged for easy convenience and shipping offshore as a thoughtful gift from home. New rimu earrings incoming with a dash of colour......Kākāpō and Kākā feathers.

New Greeting cards!
Greeting cards that you can cut out and turn into little 3D birds to hang about the place.
These have been a very long time coming, languishing in my folder for years. I even got as far as test prints done last year but then got busy with other things.
They're printed on 100% recycled card and come with a kraft envelope.
And I think they're pretty cute.

All the birds cut out, slotted together and flying (or swimming in the case of the Hoiho).

New pin alert....it's a Giant Wētā!

There are actually 11 species of giant weta, the largest being Wētāpunga/Little Barrier giant wētā which can weigh as much as an apricot, a mouse, an AA battery.....what else is approx 35g?

This one took a little longer to design. With all those skinny jointed legs, spikes, claws and antennae, it was tricky to simplify while still keeping it's Wētā-ry good looks.

Something new is nearly ready to fly.

It's crazy (and maybe a little embarrassing) how long these have been sitting in a folder.....not weeks or months but a few years! They actually got close last year when I got some test printed but I got busy and they went on the back burner again.

It's Bar-Tailed Godwit/ Kuaka season.

These beauties are currently flying non stop from Alaska to New Zealand, the longest non stop migration of any bird (that's 11-12,000kms). How amazing is that? And they don't even stop for a snack!
