With the increase in Covid cases in Waihi, the Small Gauge Railway will not be running this sunday, 6th March.
Lets hope this situation gets better soon and we can get back to giving Train Rides to the enthusiastic Rail riders.

The Small Gauge Railway will be closed during June, July and August for track re-alignment and maintenance.

Rain today but will be running again in 2 weeks.17th Jan.
Tickets available at the main station or you can donate for your ride at the small gauge station.
Footwear must be worn and the rest is up to you.
I can also do special days for birthdays or any other occassions.

This beauty of a train will be available for kiddos to take photos on and the red train will be ready for passengers big and small of any age!

Been working on this train for over 2 years and she's finally ready for the rails.
While it can't pull passengers just yet, its a beauty to look at!
