Unfortunately we have some very sad news to share with you all.

Our Air Mice Marshall and resident Hangar cat, Mothey passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon in front of the fire, surrounded by family.

He was a very much loved member of the Rangitata Island Aerodrome family, and we will all miss him very much.

He lived a very full and happy life, and we are grateful for all the precious time and memories we had with him.

Lily (with a little help from Russell) flew a bag full of poppies from Rangitata Island Aerodrome to Timaru Airport today as part of Poppy Flight. It was great to see such a great turnout.
