💥 Kahawai, snapper & Bananas 💥

Headed out the the 2 mile with a group from Tauranga, stopping on my lucky mark and we were into the Kahawai and snapper! After catching lots of kahawai we decided to move around a few more marks picking away a few more fish before heading in. There's always one that wants to test the banana luck!

💥 Day after full moon 💥

With an incredible weather forecast, we headed out for another day on the water chasing a feed of fresh fish. The sea was flat calm, and being just one day after the full moon, I was keen to see how the bite would play out.
Fishing started slow, but we chipped away at a few trevally and snapper in the shallows before pushing deeper in search of fish on the chew. One of my reliable marks produced again, with more snapper, trevally, and pink maomao coming over the side.
When that bite tapered off, we moved to a new spot which turned out to be a winner, delivering more quality snapper, trevally, and pink maomao.
All up, an excellent day on the water with great customers and crew. The fishing was slow but steady, and the conditions couldn’t have been better!
