I've been asked why do I use the term Group? Am I doing several things to justify using the term?
As it happens, yeah I do.
So not only am I a contract driver, I also hand dye and sell Ropes, I host and hold events, I teach, I'm also a truck consultant and a transport consultant.
Yes it's alot, but it's enough to keep me out of trouble lol.
So for my ropes, I import, cut and dye ropes that I sell at one of my events.
As for my events I Run a Rope based event, as well as a Bike Night
For truck consultation, having a vast experience in multiple heavy vehicles, many gear boxes and levels of horse power.
So I get a phone call from a client asking what tuck so I buy next, I get all the information that they want the vehicle to do, and I supply a list of what heavy vehicles that would be suited best to achieve that job they want, from price range, horse power, chassis length, tractor unit or prime mover, etc
For Transport consultation, again referring again to my 20 years in Heavy road Transport, a client will call, and tell me what needs to be moved and where, weather it's oversize, heavy, full load, part load etc, and I'll get back to them with their best transport options, and suggestions of who to use.
Everything I do, I do because I enjoy it, no point doing it otherwise.
Heavy road transport is something I wanted to do for as long as I can remember, along with joining the NZDF, which I also did and served for several years with what was 2nd Canterbury Battalion, but is now 2/4
Heavy Road Transport, drivers, and operators have taught me alot, always paying attention and taking every opportunity given to me or sent my way.
I've always believed an opportunity not taken is a opportunity missed, or at very least a awesome story not to tell, and admittedly I do have a few stories up my sleeve
