Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month is one that feels incredibly close to home for our team. 💙

Our team has the privilege of supporting people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s every single day and it’s a reminder that kindness, patience, and genuine connection matter more than we often realise.
Being Dementia Friends is something our team is very proud of, and we continue to build our knowledge and skills so we can better support both clients and their families through every stage of the journey.

While transport is part of what we do, it’s often the little things that make the biggest difference:

💙 Helping someone maintain independence

The level of loneliness in this country is escalating and as anyone who has ever experienced it will agree, the feeling can seem insurmountable once it settles into our lives.

There can be many reasons for being lonely, such as health, mobility impairment, sensory loss, changes to driving ability and bereavement.

Driving Miss Daisy drivers love to catch up with their clients and will do everything possible to make the journey enjoyable.

We are committed to helping our clients get out and about. We’re here to help our clients feel safe and comfortable. Our clients can feel confident there is every protocol in place to keep their trip safe, clean, and comfortable, so they can live life to the full, getting out and about seeing and meeting friends and others in their communities.

Take the time this weekend to check in on those that may be isolated and just spend some quality time with them 💙
