Great way to get into the tourism sector! Fun and exciting outdoor watersports( Jet skis, self drive boats, kayaks and stand up paddle board hire) work.
About the role:
Based in Taupo at the Taupo Boat Harbour
Some Heavy lifting required
All training provided
Daylight work hours (must be able to work on weekends and public & School holidays)
Dealing with the public in a variety of water-based activities.
Carry out safety briefings for all watersports owned by Lakefun Taupo.
Shorts and jandals needed - Shirts provided
Must love working outdoors and with people
Customer service and safety is priority
About you:
You MUST be able to swim confidently
Interact confidently with the public
Any mechanical experience advantages (but not necessary)
Can work in a fast-paced environment
Have good time management skills
Excellent at communicating and following instructions
Be reliable, fit and tidy
Have good health and safety
Be able to pass pre-employment checks - security and drugs if necessary
Good sense of humour and easy to get along with
Quick learner
