Esquif Canoes in New Zealand! Landing in NZ September 2025!

We are thrilled to share that we are partnering with Paddle & Portage Canoes in Australia to bring in a shipment of Esquif Canoes into New Zealand direct from their factory in Canada!

We have access to Esquif's full range of canoes including touring, family, white water and hunting/fishing canoes all custom made to order.

We will not be holding any stock so this is your opportunity to order direct from the factory with canoes landing in NZ in September.

We only have a small window of opportunity to secure manufacturing time so all orders must be confirmed by the 15th of July.

We often get asked how durable our Silverbirch Broadland Canoes are and how well they stand up to use.

This demo 16ft is coming up to 7 years of use. It's been demoed by multiple people and seen white water rivers up to grade 3+ across the South Island. I certainly haven't been precious about it and it's been dragged across river banks and paddled hard.

It has some battle scars on the hull but after a quick refresh of new outfitting and a light sand of the ash gunwales today it still looks fantastic!

We also have a 15ft highline Broadland as a demo Canoe at our base here in Nelson.
