We’re excited to share that we’re officially stepping into landscaping supplies, expanding the Regal Group into a new space.

This is another exciting step forward for us as we continue to grow and diversify, while still staying true to what we do best — delivering reliable, quality service.

A great Sunday on the road heading to the annual Taranaki Truck Show with 454 and 455 out for a run.

Josh and Nathan behind the wheels, with Ant joining the convoy in the Mack. Always good to get the trucks out, catch up with others in the industry, and be part of a great event.

We are seeking expression of interest for the below roles.

Tauranga High Cube Bulk Driver Class 5 :

This position is roughly 6 hours per day 5-6am start Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday operating a Volvo FH700 truck and trailer unit. This is a North End run for a double shifted unit.
This would suit casual, retired, or semi-retired.

New Plymouth Bulk Driver Class 5 :

Opportunity for home every night but with the ability to stay away when required.

Napier High Cube Bulk Driver Class 5 :

Home every night Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday, ability to stay away if workload changes.

Also seeking casuals within the Waikato, Bay Of Plenty, Taranaki and Canterbury to help with increased demand of work.

All rates based on experience.

Volvo #101 becomes Regal #550. Not quite the same sized event we had to celebrate the 100th Volvo but still another important milestone and any new truck going on the road, is always worth celebrating.

In February we were proud to hand the keys of another FH700 over to Tui Roxburgh. Tui has just clocked 400,000km's on #543 - so he is well aware of the comfort and safety features these trucks provide.

As per the previous 100 Volvos, #550 is another unit that arrived in our yard as a cab and chassis. From that point on our engineering team (with a bit of assistance from our mechanical team) took over and completed the rest of the build to what you see today.

Truck #550 was also the first christening performed by Vicki-Lee Tauranga (Vix). Vix has been with Regal since October last year stepped up admirably and reckons she has now perfected the art of champagne spraying.

Tui - enjoy the new upgrade and stay safe out there.

We trust that 2024 has started well for everyone and that you are enjoying the sunny days that summer brings. For the team at Regal, it's been a busy time especially for our engineering workshop as they put the finishing touches on yet another high quality build. This morning #547 joined the long list of Regal units to hit the road - the first full design from our Engineering Manager Matt Gerbich. Matt has been overseeing the engineering workshop for the last 2 years and to see one of his own designed units hit the road was a real proud moment for him. For the untrained eye, #547 will look the same as previous Regal high cube units however to the trained eye, there are definitely a couple of new features and design tweaks that make this unit quite different to those that have gone beforehand. It was also a proud moment for Tony Murphy who will be taking the helm and steering this around the country. Tony who is Taranaki based will have no shortage of product to fill the 135m3 capacity of this unit. Stay safe out there Tony and enjoy your new wheels.
