The Scania just ticked over 100,000km today, took 15months of sitting in Auckland traffic 👀🤣.
2166 engine hours clocked up, not a single issue, it’s the blardy driver that’s the issue 😅, been bloody cheap to run, free services for the first year and her flying through COF’s everytime to date without issue has saved our bacon honestly, a tad more in repayments to prevent breakdowns/towing and maintenance costs has paid off so far 🤞.
Shes a wicked truck to drive, does everything you ask of it plus some, turns on a dime, plenty of grunt with the 16.4L V8 at 660hp, good fuel economy, plenty of traction, stable as with a full load on, airbag front suspension has been bloody handy at times, comfortable as, what a weapon👌
Cheers to everyone keeping the wheels turning, we’d be stuffed without y’all..

5 years between these pictures. I was a rookie stock trucker in 2021, a couple of months into the job. Still a rookie stock trucker in 2026 with an added trucker belly upgrade package 🤣. I'm obviously not being chased by cattle enough 👀

*Welcome to todays rant*
I wouldn’t recommend driving trucks in the Auckland area to anyone honestly, this is getting exhausting real quick, who in their right mind decides that the red square i marked is a good place to park and go for a walk, right on the steepest tightest section, well this muppet did 🙆‍♂️.
When i come around the corner i panicked abit, i had two options, stop and risk not being able to start off again due to lack of traction or put the hammer down and suck in the stomach 🤣
Chose the latter and ended up stuck anyway (stuck in the 2nd pic) was able to reverse out of it luckily, old mate moved his car a while later and i was able to scratch my way up the hill 🤦‍♂️.
Sharing back country roads with these muppets is really great, thanks for reading, cheers 🍻😅
