Let’s revisit this story, four months on. 💙

Reading it brings back so many memories of how everything unfolded, but living it alongside Adrian and Rachael was just WOW.

I am incredibly proud of everyone who helped make this happen. This result came from sheer perseverance, trust and belief. Adrian and Rachael refused to give up, and an incredible team worked together to find another way forward.

How do you choose someone you really trust?

Think about it like dating 😂
A great profile can get your attention… but it doesn’t tell you everything you need to know.

When it comes to choosing a surgeon overseas, it can be the same.

You’ll see:
✨ Amazing photos
✨ Big followings
✨ Beautiful clinics
✨ Great reels
✨ Lots of recommendations

But for me, trust is built behind the scenes.

I want to know:

- Are they properly qualified and experienced?
- Where do they operate?
- Do they personally assess your case?
- Will they say “no” if surgery isn’t right for you?
- Do they communicate well?
- Do they do what they say they’ll do?
- How do they respond when someone needs extra support?
- And most importantly… do they genuinely care about the person in front of them?

I’ve worked alongside some of our surgeons in Türkiye for around three years now, and those relationships have grown through experience, consistency and trust.

And one of my biggest green flags?

A surgeon who is comfortable saying:

“Not yet.”
“I wouldn’t recommend that.”
“Let’s make this safer first.”

That tells me they’re thinking about the person — not just the procedure.

It's a question more people should be asking.
