Mountain Bike Rotorua is dedicated to providing top service with Retail, Shuttles, Tours, Skills Clinics and our primary service of Bike Hire, always stocking quality rides for a range of abilities and sizes. From trailer bikes to all-mountain enduro rigs, everyone should be looked after when they come to enjoy our backyard. Also on site is a retail store with a bike mechanic available in peak times for those last minute touch ups or repairs on the bike. As a part of our operations we have two retail shops that provide bike rental options, bike servicing and a range of retail product such as bike tubes, pumps, helmets, gloves, tools and lubrication as well as custom Mountain Bike Rotorua clothing. If you have come for the weekend and forgotten one of your essentials then come and see us, we are sure we can help you. Rounding out the MTB Rotorua Hub we have the unique WHEELHOUSE COFFEE SHOP at Te Puia in the Southern Carpark (next to the big roundabout). Try our world famous Banana Coffee Smoothies or get your coffee fix before heading out riding or walking on the trails of the Titokorangi and Whakarewarewa Forests. We love the Rottweiler roast - a mixed origin dark roast for the avid coffee drinker, this one has bite! SHUTTLES
Mountain Bike Rotorua Shuttles is the provider for forest uplift services in Whakarewarewa and Titokorangi Forests. We take pride in offering a friendly service 7 days a week, with knowledgable staff, using a modern and more environmentally friendly fleet than we have ever seen before in the Forests of Rotorua. We offer options of both ticketed Public Shuttles (Hop on, Hop off fixed route shuttles) and Private Charters (pre-booked shuttle charter with freedom of movement through most of the forest). Public Shuttle - Operating daily (extreme weather, harvesting or event dependant and closed Xmas and Boxing Days), our public shuttle service uses our modern fleet of buses to transport riders to the top of some of their favourite hills in the Whakarewarewa Forest. There are a total of 4 different shuttle routes to choose from with varying hours of operation. Those routes are:
