For our Chief Pilot - Antony, flying has always been personal - a lifelong connection to the place he calls home and a family aviation legacy spanning three generations.

Sharing the beauty of the South Island from the air is something we as a team, never take for granted. 🛩️

🚨 FIORDLAND MOOSE SPOTTED!!! 🚨

You won’t believe this… 👀

One of our pilots spotted this big guy during taxi out of Milford today 😳 making it the most recent sighting of the legendary Fiordland moose — previously thought to be extinct! 🫎

Guess they’ve been hiding better than we thought… or just waiting for their moment 👀

The Milford Sound runway has been closed for resurfacing the last few days, but that didn’t stop our guests from getting the full experience!

We flew into Te Anau Downs Airstrip instead and continued the adventure into Milford Sound by coach with our friends at Trips & Tramps 💙

🎉 Congratulations, Carly Sherriff!

Carly has been part of our Air Milford family since she was 15, first volunteering to soak up everything she could about aviation, and later moving into a Flight Coordinator role. Last weekend, Carly was awarded the 2025 Pauwels Flying Scholarship, presented by Captain John Pauwels himself - and we couldn't be prouder! 💙

Earlier this year, Carly left us to chase her dream of becoming a commercial pilot, and this scholarship is a huge step toward that goal.

We’re cheering her on every step of the way — go get ’em, Carly! ✈️
