The couple of nights at Piha was just beautiful. Lovely friends, cutest dogs, amazing camp, great food. Very much recommend Piha Domain Motor Camp. A lovely chilled campsite. Grassy with pohutukawa everywhere.

We’ve now come in to Auckland, walked Bean and are chilling at the Remuera Club. Tomorrow we visit Ikea 😂🥰

The wind has dropped the water is warm.

We had a visit from a lovely DOC lady this morning. Checking we had a toilet and that we use it. (Which we do!)

I said we actually always try and pick up any rubbish we find and leave a camp better than we found it. She gave us her email and asked us to send pics of, especially, toilet roll we see.
There are even toilets here, but after a busy summer we have seen a bit of loo roll. Which we’ve never seen here before, so it’s very sad. Thankfully it’s only a teeny minority that do this. But it’s a real shame.

Anyway! Back to the lovely stuff!
Today we’ve been swimming, lazing, crocheting and reading. It’s been the perfect couple of days so far.
