We’re in Rarotonga having an amazing holiday.

We’re down at Muriwai this weekend.
The beach was wild! The camp is really nice and the company has been lovely. It has been freezing outside though!!
Dogs and humans had a blast.

Lloyd and I are heading over to the other side of the island today and going to visit the Sculptureum Sculptureum

And!! We’re back to normal. The builders truly are amazing.

A couple more nights away.
Our house is in a shambles due to a water leak. It’s being repaired amazingly by the builders, but it’s too chaotic to stay at home.
The damage was more extensive than we thought 😱
Thank goodness for Coddi. (And brilliant builders!)

Another wee trip done and dusted.
Need to give a big shout out to Ahipara Top 10 - the camp is wonderful. The lodge is perfect for winter evenings with a roaring log fire and plenty room for lots of people, and a very well equipped kitchen. The new toilet block ,and kitchen in another part is absolutely brilliant. Totally recommend it.

Some even managed a blustery beach walk and another feast of a dinner!!
It’s been a grand weekend.

We’re up in Ahipara with the RAF’ers. The weather is diabolical! Thankfully the lounge here has huge tables and sofas and a roaring log fire, so it’s great.
We braved the market in Kaitaia - had very,very good coffees!

A little night away while Lloyd’s down in Auckland.
Bean and I have popped to Rainbow Falls.

Lovely walk along the river. Stunning, hot winters day.

This camp is always lovely, but at this time of year the citrus trees are all laden with fruit.

We’re well settled home now after our amazing trip back to the Uk.
It’s been ages since we’ve been away in Coddi, though.
But! In a couple of weeks we’re off up to Ahipara with the RAF’s. And the weekend after that down to Muriwai with the Butter Forks.
Very excited about these 2 trips.
We’ve been to Ahipara loads of times, but not camped at Muriwai before.

Second half of our amazing trip!
More cold sea swimming in Cellardyke, seeing my mum and my brother and the rest of the family in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, my 40 year school reunion, Millport with lovely friends, Glasgow with more friends, a night in the Cotswolds and a catch up with more friends! Leaving 😢. Lloyd reunited with his laptop in Kuala Lumpur, and some Denby pottery I nicked from mum!
Now we’re home. Lots of Bean snuggles 🥰
What an amazing trip it was. We loved it so much.

We’re in the Uk. Not in Coddi, sadly.
We’ve been away for 2 weeks already!
It’s been amazing. We started off in Bournemouth with friends, then up to Yorkshire with Lloyd’s side of the family. After that it was Newcastle for the main event! Our Niece’s wedding. Which was truly the most beautiful wedding I’ve been to.
Now we’re making our way up the east coast of Scotland and to spend some time with my side of the family and friends🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. So far it’s been simply wonderful.
Wee Bean is home with a very lovely housesitter.
Half way through already!
