Feels like days of old today for ASL Packaging, making heavy-duty pallet bases till 12.30am this morning then back onsite at 4.30am to load & head to Hamilton for a big day packaging new machiney ready for export shipping then back to yard 7pm.
Great to be busy but now it's time to catch up on sleep before tomorrow's builds start all over again....
Acheived alot today,Well done Guys.
Late start tomorrow 8am.

A Massive week finished off today For ASL Packaging.
More locally made machines being exported overseas, these machines are highly polished stainless steel & also high gloss painted surfaces. It's a tight squeeze to get into the shipping containers with the main pieces having just 7mm on each side to get into the containers, all achieved with no scratches at all. One piece 3700 long & weighing 3500kgs.
Well done team, some early starts required & client very happy with how it all went.
Upcoming work has us being required to build a crate for break bulk project cargo for a machine weighing 21000kgs.... that's a big crate !!

Another big week for ASL Packaging with more out of town work completed over a 2 day period.
Getting the whole job done in 2 days had the client very happy.
Currently July has us booked up until after the 21st. Tomorrow 1st day off in 2 weeks.

2 big full on days Friday, Saturday Packing up 40mtr+ super yacht mast,boom & components.
Good effort Lads!
Today was also another big 9hr day in the workshop.
This week is ditto last week with outa town work & more super yacht Spar packaging.

Big Day in Hamilton today, Lads absolutely smashed it out, already for shrinkwrapping then loading in 2 x 40 ft H/C's tomorrow.
Next week We'll do it all again!!

Has been awhile since we posted last.
Things have been so hectic lately, the lads have had to work weekends.....Great Effort Lads !! No time for fishing.
Photos showing large masts/Booms x10 off ready for shipping.
Bulk Bagging Machines for Demark & 18th century artwork pieces which Required some rather intense packing to make sure they make their trip to an Auction house in London.

Haven't posted in a while...
Busy Saturday just gone with both truck and tandem trailer ready with crates and bases ready for Delivery Monday.
Now Into some big bases for work out of region coming up.
Afew photos of what weve been upto lately.
Have installed another 3 phse radial arm saw so twice as much timber can potentially be cut if required.

An urgent one came in last Wednesday which Required 3 Large crates & also some bases for Dairy factory machinery being transported to the south island.
All bases made Thurs/Friday.
All machinery loaded, secured & shrink wrapped onsite Sat/Sunday.
The sides,ends & lids for big crates made Monday.
Assembly of the big crates ALL done Tuesday.
A Massive effort by 4 Guys completed in such a small timeframe along with a few surprises ( extra equipment added to consignment ) & Sometimes there is that one little piece that refuses to fit inside the crate so modifications are required.
We even had our own onsite light show.
Bring on the next Big one !!

Every now & then we get to make things for special reasons, both professionally & at the same time personally.
A tribute to a Great Guy who will be very well missed.
If your ever traveling down past the road to Halcombe on SH1 look out for this road sign made as a tribute to him.
