Come and enjoy a ride on our 2.2 km track through beautiful native Bush and well kept gardens. We are open Saturday, Sunday, Public Holidays, and school holidays, 1.00pm to 4.00pm.
$3.00 for a return trip.
$2.00 for a half trip. We welcome excursions. Eft-Pos available at both stations. Travel on our famous 2.2 km track through the gardens and bush of the Victoria Esplanade. Keep a sharp eye out

and you may see some rabbits. All our staff are volunteers and we welcome inquiries from any prospective new members. Contact us on; [email protected]

The Esplanade Railway will be closed tomorrow, Friday 17th, to allow our members to attend a memorial service for a fellow member who tragically passed away unexpectedly in recent days.

We thank you for your understanding at this time, normal service will resume as of Saturday 18th.

Palmy and manawatu you all rock, yesterday was massive and we set you the challenge to make today (Sunday) even BIGGER, and boy did you smash that challenge, well over 1000 people through the trains today INSANE!!!

Last day for the easter bunnies tomorrow, lets make it MASSIVE!! One request, please remain seated and don't try to grab at our easter bunnies or their baskets, a few people have been spoiling the fun and one group today got a stern word about respect after giving one of our bunnies quite a fright all leaning right out grabbing and screaming etc before the train had even stopped.
