Ron and Shelley took over the reins at Driving Miss Daisy Palmerston North in mid-2024. Together with our committed team, we are excited to build on the great work of the previous owner and assist as many people as possible in achieving greater independence and an improved quality of life."

This Stroke Awareness Month, Driving Miss Daisy Palmerston North is helping spread an important message: know the signs of stroke and act FAST.

Remember F.A.S.T:

F – Face: Is the face drooping on one side?
A – Arms: Is one arm weak or unable to be raised?
S – Speech: Is speech slurred or hard to understand?
T – Time: Call 111 immediately if you notice any of these signs.

Stroke can happen suddenly, and every minute counts. Quick action can save a life and reduce long term effects.
