New Plymouth Airport's Fire Rescue Team carries out runway inspections, safety checks, emergency response training and supporting airport operations every day. Their expertise extends far beyond firefighting, helping keep our airport safe, secure and running smoothly.

✈️ A mystery tour with a behind-the-scenes airport visit? Sounds like a pretty great day out to us!

It was a pleasure welcoming the Weir Tours Mystery Day Trip group to New Plymouth Airport and giving them a glimpse behind the scenes, including a visit with our Airport Rescue Fire team and a look at some of the equipment that helps keep our airport safe.

We love seeing visitors explore the region, discover something new and get a little closer to what happens behind the scenes at the airport.
