Setting up to make a cut. The cuts need to be perpendicular to the waterline even if we’re upside down and back to front and working with a cambered surface every cut has a different angle.

It's been over a month since I last posted to my page, A photo of myself proudly holding my certificate in project management. So putting it all into context, that is what has kept me busy for the last month. Preparing estimates and working out timelines as well as collaborating with other contractors. To secure a project where one of the defining factors of whether to take on the job was will it fit through the door. Can we do it: Heck Yeah! The workshop will need some rearranging, but with some help from some friends and collaborators and a crane or two. We can do it. I have also been busy working with some of the local engineering companies as a contract chippie and doing a bit of caulking. Which is Tuesdays job and todays visual, enjoy.

Remember back in November where I was using "hand tools" to flatten the boards in this picture below. Here is a wee time lapse of me using my new (to me) machine to do the same job on some more big boards.

Moving into our new workshop, it’s still a work in progress but it’s taking shape. I haven’t moved as much as I would have liked, we are trying to have a place to put things before they come here. I also took on some work for a new client who has an evolving job list, there’s nothing like kicking off the new year as we mean to continue. We are open but not always there, on the Marina side of Vickerman St, if the door is up feel free to stop by.
