1 in 3 Kiwis will receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, and every day, 81 New Zealanders hear the words, "you have cancer." Together, we can help ensure no one has to face cancer alone. 💛

This August, Originair is proud to support Cancer Society Nelson Tasman for Daffodil Day. Every dollar raised stays right here in our community, helping fund vital services including support groups, counselling, grocery and petrol vouchers, rehabilitation programmes, and education on cancer risk reduction and early detection.

If you're flying with us to or from Nelson this month, you can drop your spare change into the donation box at the Nelson Airport check-in counter until Daffodil Day on 28 August. You can also scan the QR code on our check-in flyer to make a donation online.

We're also donating two return flights between Nelson and Wellington to support the Nelson Vintage Car Club Daffodil Rally for Cancer Show & Shine Raffle.

Throw back to when we were in Palmerston North, where we were proud to sponsor the INBA Armed Forces and Emergency Services Championships!

This event is incredibly close to our hearts. Every single competitor is a current or former member of the Armed Forces or Emergency Services, and a portion of the proceeds went directly to supporting Te Kiwi Māia.

It was inspiring to watch our heroes compete on the stage, and we loved hearing talking to competitors and the stories behind who they were competing for.

As part of our sponsorship, we gave away seven return flights, one for each category winner plus a bonus return ticket that we raffled off onstage that went to a member of the audience.

Huge thanks to the INBA team and all the competitors for such a warm welcome. We can’t wait to see the winners on board with us soon!
