Part time casual work on offer for Tākaro Trails Cycle Tours for the summer.
We need a Bike Shop Assistant and/or Cycle Guides. Must be a happy host, work well in a team, love international visitors and love bikes.
Must be available for all of summer October-April, 2-4 days/week. Weekend and Public Holiday work availability essential.

W**e Tourism is pretty ripe right now in Te Matau a Māui (in a very good way)!

Tākaro Trails is right in the thick of it - as the winner of the recent W**e Tourism Services Awards we're stocked that there is recognition of the importance of tourism operators that aren't actually w**eries. We're the ones that bring many people to the w**eries - we provide the links.

Tākaro are welcoming the new season with the first UNCORKED 5 Day Guide Cycle Ebike tour starting. We have 7 intrepid explorers on tour this week who so far have experienced all weather typical of spring including snow on the hills and a bluebird tshirt day today!
Visits to crabfarm Church Road W**ery Clearview Estate W**ery Restaurant Cellar Door Craggy Range W**ery as well as madamesocial_napier CASA and Piku Ahuriri Village Kitchen casa_Ahuriri with many more to come over the next two days!!!
Complaints include “sore butt” “stuffed stomach” “we need to stop to take more photos please”
But the Compliments are more “stunning landscapes” “I’ve had the best day” “I feel like I’ve struck gold” “loved meeting the w**emaker” “I drunk w**e out of the barrel - amazing” and more!

Tonight Tākaro WON the Best W**e Tourism Service Award at the Great W**e Capital awards. Our tours are the perfect mix of outdoor experience with a connection to the Hawke’s Bay w**eries and top food places.

The judges comments were around the great company energy and intentional growth that we have demonstrated over the last few years and how impressed they were with the innovative new products we’ve put in play this upcoming season.

But really it’s a win for Te Mātau a Maui Hawke’s Bay Food and W**e country. It’s a great thing - especially combined with cycling! Congratulations to all the other winners tonight and Hawke’s Bay Tourism for their mahi. Massive thanks go out to our amazing staff and incredible hospitality partners who we absolutely love ❤️.
