Kiwiness Tours is to close down after 7 years of offering a range of tours here on the Matakana Coast. Obviously it wasn't an easy decision, but this feels the best way to finish now, head held high.

There are many factors involved but at the end of the day I only want to deliver high quality successful tours, no compromise on that. A huge thank you to EVERYONE who has supported this business one way or another!! Together with my amazing guides (Ed, Adrian & Aiden) we have toured thousands of people around the area and into the magic of Tawharanui Sanctuary. 🫶

Anyone with valid vouchers, get in touch we will sort you out of course.

I love the people I've met, the places I've been and the business lessons learnt.

It's not just about seeing the Kiwi (which we guarantee or it's a free tour)! This is a tour guided by a local enthusiast for both the birds and the park. Just sit back and relax with transport from Matakana village (have a bite to eat at a local hot spot first), then come with us for 3 hours of absolute magic in nature! 🌿 Bird watching, informative facts and star gazing are all on the agenda. Oh and did we mention hot choc and cookies 🍪
