The last morning at Beach Hop 😟. We want to share some shots of the gorgeous caravans parked up at Whangamata Area School.

There’s been such a lovely community atmosphere here, with Flaming Mudcats playing live over the last 2 nights.

Bookings open for next year on 1 May. Bring a retro van like these, or a more current caravan or motor home. Parking is easy and well organised. Bring the whole family including your dog!

Looking forward to this!

Last year we introduced "HAIR!" to the Festival line up and it was a blast.

So we're doing it again at Repco Beach Hop 25 with special guest MC Brendhan Lovegrove, and live music from Ricki Wood who's returning from Australia for our 25th Anniversary.

We have $500 cash for the best Adult Mullet, Kids Mullet, Mustache & Beard PLUS there will be a Hairy Back competition and Best Joke as well.

Get set for an hilarious night in the MainStream Fan Zone in Port Road.

These look great!

Once again our very talented artist Ger Peters has really knocked it out of the park with the T shirt design for Repco Beach Hop 25!

Based on the popular & collectable Bubble Gum stickers from the 60s/70s, the design also celebrates our 25th Silver Anniversary and recognises that Whangamata is also on State Highway 25.

T shirts will be available in a range of colours at the Festival for those that attend the event. The image will also be used on flags, banners, posters etc that will also be on sale.

An exciting announcement from the Beach Hop crew!

You are going to see a number of exciting announcements over the next few months in the build up to our 25th Silver Anniversary at Repco Beach Hop 25.

We are excited to announce a new venue for the Repco Power Cruise on Thursday 27th March 2025. Over the past 2 years we've had to improvise with the Cruise the Loop due to major road closures on the Coromandel Peninsula. This was an excellent alternative however we are always working to get keep the Festival fresh with new additions.

We've been working closely with the Thames-Coromandel District Council to close a large area of the airfield at Paunanui Beach for the 2025 Repco Power Cruise. Are we excited? HELL YES!!!

We took the Festival to Pauanui for 3 years 2007-2009 so it's great to be returning to a new venue. The Pauanui Airfield is a GREAT location with easy access, the Pauanui Club is next door and the shopping centre is a 5 minute walk away.

We have PLENTY of entertainment planned with great prizes to give way - it's going to be a MAGIC day.
