RnR will be back in the water today after it's annual haulout and check over.
This year it included taking out the motor... we used our big Sami 4x4 for this and it handled it with ease. Wayne as well as being the skipper, is a qualified diesel mechanic and did all the servicing.. replacing hoses, belts, seals etc and checking all the bolt on bits... fitted a new turbo, antifouled the hull and sternleg.. polished inside and out... and big thanks to Brian Drake for the hours and blood and sweat he donated to the cause......(he will be testing the boat to ensure it still knows where all the fish are).
Sea you on the water...

RnR is looking pretty sharp after her winter haulout. We lifted the engine out and gave it a good going over, belts, hoses, seals and all those good things an engine loves. With new anitifoul, she will glide through the water smooth as.... we use coppercoat which will gradually turn green.
RnR has been polished inside and out and a big thanks to Brian Drake for his assistance with this...
She'll be back in the water in a couple of days, ready for action and with daylight saving upon us... the days will be soon warming up.

Have you ever visited the Mokes? just over an hour offshore, these rugged islands are a photographers dream, not to mention the good fishing to be had out there. I'm going to be popping up random pics of the outer gulf islands. RnR has been a regular visitor there for over 28 years and prior to that, Wayne (the skipper) visited in his yacht, a place we both love and we are sure you will enjoy it too.
